Overview
Everything electronic you need for a GPS-capable, long-range 5-inch (or 7-inch) FPV drone — matched, tested together, and configured for ArduPilot out of the box (INAV and Betaflight also supported by the FC). One click instead of six product pages: flight controller, ESC, GPS with compass, RC + telemetry link, video transmitter with antenna, and an optical-flow/range sensor for position hold without GPS. Works with any frame that takes a 30.5×30.5 stack — including our free 3D-printable Grasshopper5, or any 5–7 inch frame you already own.
What's in the kit
- Flight controller: MicoAir H743 V2 — STM32H743, dual IMU (BMI088+BMI270), Bluetooth telemetry, ArduPilot/PX4/INAV/Betaflight (manual)
- ESC: MicoAir 50A 4-in-1, Bluejay firmware, 2–6S, 30.5×30.5 & 20×20 mounting
- GPS: your choice — Standard: M10G-5883 (M10 + QMC5883L compass) · Precision: MG-F10-C dual-band L1+L5 GNSS with IST8310, ~1 m accuracy (manual)
- RC + telemetry: MicoAir TRS 2.4 GHz 2-in-1 — 1 W TX module (fits JR-bay radios) + SBUS receiver, stick control and MAVLink telemetry over one link (manual)
- Video: Robofusion VT5804 5.8 GHz analog VTX — 25–2500 mW, 48 channels, TBS SmartAudio (manual) + A5800 3 dBi omni antenna (lab test report)
- Optical flow & range: MicoAir MTF-01P — position hold near the ground and where GPS is weak, precise low-altitude hold
You save vs buying separately — the Standard kit bundles $237.37 of components; the Precision kit $299.36. Both kits qualify for free US shipping (over $99).
What you still need (standard FPV parts we don't currently stock): a frame (print the Grasshopper5 free, or use any 5–7" frame), 4× motors (2207-class for 5"), props, an analog FPV camera, a 6S LiPo battery, and 5.8 GHz goggles or a receiver monitor.
Why this combination
Every part is from the same ecosystem we document and support daily: the FC's ports map directly to each peripheral (GPS → SERIAL3, TRS → RC input, VTX SmartAudio → spare UART, MTF-01P → I2C/UART), wiring is covered step-by-step in our knowledge base, and the whole stack is proven together on the Grasshopper5 project aircraft. No cross-brand guesswork, one support contact.
