Overview
The MicoAir TRS combines your radio control link and telemetry data link in one 2.4GHz LoRa system — one TX module in your radio, one 2.5 g receiver on the aircraft, and a single encrypted FHSS link carrying both your stick inputs (up to 150 Hz) and bidirectional MAVLink telemetry (up to 8 KB/s) at the same time.
A conventional long-range build needs two separate radio systems: an RC link (like ELRS) plus a dedicated telemetry radio. That means two receivers, two antennas, and two frequency plans that can interfere with each other. The TRS folds both jobs into one link — no 2.4GHz self-interference problem, less weight, simpler wiring.
The receiver outputs SBUS for control and a serial MAVLink telemetry stream, so it works with any ArduPilot or PX4 flight controller (Pixhawk and others). Your ground station connects through the TX module — including wirelessly from an Android phone running QGroundControl over built-in Bluetooth, with no cable to your radio.

Three modes trade range against control rate and data rate:

Long-range mode suits cruising wings and mappers; high-speed gives the snappiest stick feel and fastest parameter transfers. The receiver adopts the matching baud rate automatically after re-binding — just set your flight-controller port to match.

Binding
The receiver LED shows link status: solid = linked, slow blink = not connected, fast blink = binding mode.
- Step 1: Hold the receiver's bind button and power it on — the LED blinks rapidly (binding mode).
- Step 2: Power on (or power-cycle) the radio with the TX module installed — the pair binds automatically within a few seconds and the LED goes solid.
