Overview
The LR900-P is the flagship of the LR900 family: a full 1 W (1000 mW) of transmit power — double the LR900-F — wrapped in a protective translucent enclosure. It's a plug-and-play MAVLink telemetry link for Pixhawk-standard flight controllers running ArduPilot or PX4: live HUD, parameter tuning and mission upload in Mission Planner or QGroundControl, at ranges where WiFi and Bluetooth gave up long ago. LoRa spread-spectrum modulation plus FHSS frequency hopping keep the link solid through interference, and transparent serial passthrough also makes it a clean RTK base–rover data link.
Sold as a complete pair — air unit, ground unit, antennas, cables and USB adapter. Plug one into the flight controller, one into your laptop or ground station, done.
Features
- 890–915 MHz band, LoRa modulation + FHSS frequency hopping
- 1000 mW transmit power — the highest in the LR900 series
- Up to 3.2 KB/s transparent throughput (FHSS downlink), 8 KB max serial packet
- Protective injection-molded enclosure with mounting tabs
- USB-C on board (CP2102) — ground-side connection and configuration without extra adapters
- Transparent serial: ArduPilot, PX4, RTK base–rover, or any UART device
- Average power consumption ~2 W — supply from a 5 V source able to deliver it
Which LR900?
- LR900-P (this one): 1 W, enclosure, maximum range and throughput — the long-range flagship
- LR900-F: 500 mW — the proven mid-range pick
- LR900-A: 160 mW budget pair for bench and short-range work

Regulatory note
The 902–928 MHz ISM band is license-free in North America; 1 W output is within the FCC/ISED ISM limits commonly applied to frequency-hopping devices. Operating rules vary elsewhere (e.g. 868 MHz regions) — you are responsible for compliance with local regulations.
